Specify the part you need
- STEP or other 3D file, plus a dimensioned PDF drawing and revision number.
- Material grade, finish, critical tolerances, threads and inspection dimensions.
- Sample quantity, first production batch and expected repeat demand.
- Intended application, delivery postcode and required delivery date.
- Required material certificates, first-article or dimensional inspection reports.
Compare the full batch cost
Tooling, setup, samples, finishing, inspection, packing and freight can change the economics of a small production run. Request these items separately so you can compare the total cost of the same accepted component.
Agree acceptance before production
The quotation process should identify critical dimensions, approved drawings, sample approval and the remedy for non-conforming parts. Available processes, tolerances and lead times depend on the selected manufacturer and your design.

Each proposal will identify the agreed supply or agency arrangement, specifications, delivery scope and after-sales responsibilities. Inspection, certification review, installation and local servicing are scoped and quoted where required. Any statutory rights that apply remain unaffected.
