Applications and care

Use for accessible O-rings, washers, springs and similar small components during general maintenance. These are pointed steel tools: take care around soft metals, plastic housings and precision seal grooves. Scratches on sealing faces can cause leaks. Where a non-marking tool is required, select a suitable plastic pick instead. Isolate equipment and release stored pressure before dismantling fittings.

Do not use the picks as pry bars or on live electrical equipment. Keep the points away from your hands and wear appropriate eye protection when releasing spring-loaded components. Wipe the tools clean and dry after use and store with the points protected.
