Vaisala MMP8 Moisture in Oil Probe
The Vaisala MMP8 continuously measures moisture and temperature in oil. It supports monitoring of water saturation in suitable lubrication, hydraulic and transformer oil systems, including appropriately designed wind energy installations.

Application and selection
Select probe length, immersion depth, fitting and installation kit for the process. Water-content conversion to ppm requires the appropriate oil-specific coefficients; relative saturation and water activity are useful direct outputs. An Indigo transmitter can be specified where a local display or additional outputs are required. Installation-pressure limits differ from operating-pressure limits.
