Description
HYDAC MCS 1000 Metallic Wear Debris Sensor for Wind Gearboxes
The HYDAC MCS 1000 detects and classifies metallic wear particles in circulating oil. Its inductive measurement distinguishes ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic debris, providing an additional condition monitoring channel for wind turbine gearboxes, bearings and lubrication systems.
Technical specifications

| Interfaces | RS485/Modbus RTU or CANopen versions; Ethernet options depend on model |
| Protection | IP67 |
Application and selection
Choose the sensor bore against oil flow and the smallest debris of interest. Combine debris trends with vibration, inspection and oil analysis when investigating gearbox wear.
Quotation information
Provide gearbox model, lubricant, flow, connection and communications requirements. The MCS1000 family image illustrates the series; exact sensor section and fittings depend on the selected model.
Supply availability, final configuration and warranty terms are confirmed in the written quotation.
