Application and selection

The kit can support workshop maintenance of appropriately sized wind farm auxiliary motors, pumps and other small rotating equipment. Suitable bushings, seals and pulleys may also be assembled where the component and tool geometry match.

Check the SKF bearing selection chart and the component manufacturer's mounting method before use. Apply mounting force through the correct fitted ring and avoid transmitting installation loads through rolling elements. Bearings beyond the kit's range or requiring thermal or hydraulic mounting need a separately selected method.
