Application and selection

Temperature changes can create pressure differences between the inside and outside of wind turbine and wind farm cabinets. A suitably installed pressure compensation device provides a membrane-protected breathing path as part of the enclosure design.

Check wall geometry, seal contact, installation orientation, exposure and the required protection of the complete enclosure. The device is passive and does not actively remove humidity or drain pooled water. Its component ratings do not certify the finished cabinet or guarantee the absence of condensation.
