The STEGO CSS 014 digital smart sensor measures temperature and relative humidity in electrical cabinets and industrial equipment. The 01411.2-01 version communicates over IO-Link, providing environmental data for enclosure monitoring, maintenance trending and configured climate-control alarms.

Application and selection

For wind turbine and wind farm equipment, cabinet temperature and humidity trends can inform inspection priorities and configured condensation-risk alarms. Select the mounting position to represent the protected equipment and avoid local heat sources that distort the reading.

The sensor requires a compatible IO-Link master, suitable power supply, matching shielded connection and controller configuration. It provides measurements; any heating, ventilation, dehumidification or alarm response must be specified separately. The 0–100% RH measurement span does not change the device's installation or operating limits.
