The STEGO KTO 111 is a compact enclosure thermostat with a normally closed contact that opens as temperature rises. Order number 11100.0-00 provides a 0–60 °C adjustable range for temperature-based switching of appropriately selected cabinet heaters and other compatible loads.

Application and selection

In wind turbine control cabinets and auxiliary electrical enclosures, a compatible heater and thermostat can support enclosure climate management. The heater size, thermostat position, cabinet heat loss and required internal temperature must be assessed for the installation.

The NC contact function is intended for loads that should switch off as the cabinet warms. Confirm supply voltage, load type, inrush and contact ratings during circuit design. This mechanical thermostat measures temperature only; humidity monitoring and the heater are separately selected.
